The body was on the floor
pan... but somewhere along the way, someone decided
that it just wouldn't be right to go all through the
trouble of restoring the body and not doing anything
to the floor pan... so off the body came. It was set
on barrels, and the floor pan was pressure washed, cleaned
of any chipped paint and grease ( there was very little)
and painted top and bottom with a rust inhibitive paint.
It was allowed to dry several days before it was handled
it again.

| While the floor pan was off new brake lines,
fuel lines, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, shift
bushing, throttle and clutch cables were installed.
|
The body was put back on, engine assembled
and installed...glass put back in, interior installed,
new CD player / radio, speakers, new chrome put on. New
radial tires were put on, 165 X 15 Firestones in the front,
255 X 15 Goodyears in the rear. |
